My going on 17 year old cat was diagnosed with kidney disease and has a heart murmur (funny cause I have a murmur too)…not sure what’s going to happen next but I’m very sad that she is sick. The vet recommends a low protein diet hoping she will gain weight, because she has lost almost 3 lbs in 10 months and she’s a small cat so it’s a lot.
